The backyard of the Casera house in Ilag was the most interesting place. That is where the animals live, the fruit grows and most of the cooking and cleaning take place. The room that mom and I slept in was on the backside of the house so our room was often filled with wonderful aromas and smoke. It made it feel that much more like camping out to me.
